Photographs

This is what it looks like.

Courts, tables, and the long afternoons in between. Everybody in these turned up not knowing anyone either.
An empty clay tennis court in flat morning light
Green hillside above the water
Five people talking around a long table indoors
Rows of red velvet seats in an old cinema
A rocky Mediterranean cove
Billiard balls racked on green baize
A terrace at dusk, chairs pulled around a table
Hands resting on an open book beside a coffee cup
A wooded valley falling away toward the sea
Two people working side by side at a shared table
The bay from a headland at dusk, ships waiting offshore
An archive photograph of a formally dressed gathering

None of these were taken by a photographer. Somebody remembered their phone, which is about the level of organisation we manage once everyone has sat down.
